Well, we all know the Fair is going to be kicking it up a notch with the great weather ahead, so lets move off the Midway and find some alternate events out in the ‘Ville:

SATURDAY
Art on the Ohio – downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana

There will be an arts and crafts show from 10am-6pm on August 22nd and from 10am-5pm on August 23rd. Also the World War II ship, the USS LST-325 will be docked and open for tours. There will be period re-enactments, concerts, stage productions and movies daily!! Lots of great shops and restaurants in the area. Come shop, dine, explore… Historic Downtown Jeffersonville

“Celts on the River Concert”

A day of Celtic music. Five local and regional Celtic bands plus headliner Brendan Loughrey from Donegal, Ireland. The event is free and open to the public at the newly renovated New Albany Riverfront Amphitheatre from 3:00pm – 11:00pm. Along with the music, Celtic food and libations will be on-hand as well as Celtic informational booths. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. For further information call (502) 609-2826.
